"Shot through with adrenaline to fire up my excited heart"

Haha. It's only 9:23, but it's been an amusing day already. I dragged myself out of bed at 6:40...............................................................................................ugh. I proceeded to dress and brush my teeth in about 5 minutes and then drive to Castleton to get this god-forsaken eye test out of the way. I was told to arrive at 7:15. Lesson learned, never fucking trust health care professionals!!!! I walked around the building for about 5 minutes because ALL of the doors were locked. ha-ha-ha funnyyyy guys. Fortunately I knew I had to run in the rain later so I would get rained on eventually. Can I just say that I hate the doctors office. I mean, I don't think many people like it, but I have had some bad experiences. I've thrown up and cried in the doctor's office, both pretty awkward and embarrassing. What really gets me is that they felt the need to weigh me, take my temperature, my blood pressure and my pulse....oh, AND ask me about my families health history. Okay, I need a god damn eye test. Next time I'm going to ask them to do me a big favor and cut the shit and just do what I need them to do. Maybe then they wouldn't have to charge a $15 co-pay and maybe I wouldn't have to wait 20 minutes for the doctor to come in.                                                                                     Well, now that I'm done ranting, the good news is that I knocked that eye test out of the park. My vision, combined both eyes, is 20/13. I actually googled what that means because I wanted to boost my confidence in my eyes. It means that I can see things from 20 feet that most people can only see from 13 feet. My right eye is actually not as good as my left eye, my left eye is 20/15, but when i read with both eyes it was 20/13 as well as with just my left eye. And then i had to write a check to the New York Department of Motor Vehicles for $64.50 and I was pissed again.
Even though it was raining this morning, it wasn't too bad to run. The rain had slowed quite a bit, I barely got wet. Now I just need to take a shower, force myself to eat something (still have no appetite), print out a study guide for the Economics test I have tomorrow, go to the post office and then work 11-8. I can't complain, I've been getting a lot done lately and I know as soon as I go home I'm going to be bored and depressed. Ohhhh..and one more thing, I'm talking to someone new....like a new boy.....very strange. But good. I may dish more tomorrow, but probably not.
